Today was my breaking point. Seriously.......we went out for supper at a friend's house and my kids were out of control. They are just naughty. And once naughty happens, they just continue to add to the naughtiness and just get worse. My whole thing is may I never forget what this is like. May I never be an old woman that sits there and just puts my nose up in the air to the little kids in the room. I had one lady SHUSH my kids tonight. Yeah you know what spend a few hours with them and then see if SHUSHing works..........SHUSHing just adds to the noise. SHUSH this WOMAN.......of course this woman has 2 kids....5 years between them, they are adults and they have the 3 perfect grandkids........blah blah blah. Perfect people are hiding something. Just so you know.........I have nothing to hide. Just ask me. I will tell you!
Kid Moments:
Jeff and I were talking on the phone this morning......and he tells me that the kids have a new trick. GREAT I love hearing this. Yeah he was on duty Monday night, and he admits to the fact basically that he was babysitting from the chair. (ok so no he doesn't admit this, but that is basically what I can put together of the actions of the night) He tells me that the kids were all together playing in Jackson's bedroom. And all of a sudden he hears giggling. Giggling really? hmm.......then he says he hears someone come in the front door and thinks that it is me....so all of a sudden Delaney comes down the steps. He really doesn't check into it from what I can gather.......and then a few minutes later he asks where Jackson is....he is told that he is playing. And this goes on and he admits to the fact that this goes on for about 40 minutes, and then at one point he asks where Jackson is and Delaney says he is outside riding his bike. Umm hmm.........so he gets up to check out what is going on.........and he goes into Jackson's room and he finds the screen out of the window in his room and they are using this window as an entrance and an exit to the house. Yeah nice....................MAN LAND. They would have ran the same game with me I am sure.......but A) I would have been up checking on them...and B) if it did happen I wouldn't have admitted to it in such detail. WOMAN's Thinking!!!
Nothing they do amazes me right now....if they haven't tried it........the next one will. I need a super duper heavy duty to the max high end straight jacket.
