10:30 at night and I am still fighting the fight. The kids took late naps this afternoon and now I am paying for it. Jackson has been laying in bed screaming that he wants to watch the weather.....I am sure he needs to know that we are going to be stuck in the house all day tomorrow as it is going to rain again tomorrow. Yeah........maybe rainbow straightjacket if it rains all day tomorrow.
Needless to say during naps I did get a chance to make a few cards that I have been putting off. I have sympathy cards to send out from the last six months. I am a firm believer that it is never to late to send these cards...............good thing I have that opinion.......and personally I don't care what anyone else thinks about this stance. It is how it is. I will post a few of the pictures of the cards I made today .......all with the July Stamp of the Month.......Boom Di Ada, terracotta, and petal are the colors I chose. I used a w
ater color brush to color them. The terracotta was used on a brayer to make the Best Wishes card. Thought it turned out pretty good. Fun to play with..........that was my destressor of the day.Kid Moments:
Delaney and Jackson and Kennedy were playing with ROCKETS tonight. Yeah rockets from my bathroom closet..............that pop out and have a string and everything.............also known as tampons. Dear Lord. I thought I had them all picked up (because I am the only one in the house that has the ability to bend over to pick stuff up) and then next thing I know is they are using them as candles on their pretend birthday cake.........................yeah. I am getting closer to checking myself in.
